The purpose of this Law is to ensure the protection of human and animal health and consumer interests in relation to food safety, taking into account the diversity of food supply and ensuring the efficient functioning of the market.

The final date for comments is March 15, 2020. The proposed date of entry into force is February 22, 2020.
