The regulation establishes how to give the country of origin or the place of provenance of a primary ingredient which is not the same as the given country of origin or the given place of provenance of the food

The Regulation entered into force on June 2, 2018, and shall apply from April 1, 2020.

Foods placed on the market or labeled prior to the date of application of this Regulation may be marketed until the stocks are exhausted.
