USA: Pesticide Petitions - International Nut & Dried Fruit Council

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has received several initial filings of pesticide petitions requesting the establishment or modification of regulations for residues of pesticide chemicals in or on various commodities.As regards nuts and dried fruits, the agency received the following petitions for new tolerances:

  • Fungicide isofetamid in plum, prune, dried at 3.5 ppm.
  • Fungicide pydiflumetofen in grape, raisin at 2.0 ppm and in peanut, nutmeat at 0.02 ppm.
