The comment period on the use of the term “healthy” in the labeling of food products has been extended to April 26, 2017 in response to requests for additional time to submit comments.On 27 September 2016, the US Food and Drug Administration opened a public process to redefine the “healthy” nutrient content claim for food labeling.
