According to the European Federation of the Trade in Dried Fruit & Edible Nuts, Processed Fruit & Vegetables, Processed Fishery products, Spices, Honey (FRUCOM), the European Commission DG SANTE is working on the Draft Regulation as regards origin labeling.The Draft Regulation lays down the rules for indicating the country of origin or place of provenance of the primary ingredient of a food where different to that given for that food.The Draft is under discussion and it is expected to apply from 1 April 2019.For further information, please contact us at inc@nutfruit.org.
