EFSA: Spirotetramat, MRLs Review - International Nut & Dried Fruit Council

Based on the risk assessment results, EFSA concluded that the short-term and long-term intake of residues resulting from the use of spirotetramat according to the intended agricultural practices is unlikely to present a risk to consumer health.
 
Among others, EFSA proposes to amend the existing MRL in cranberries at 0.2 ppm (Spi + 4)  by 0.7 ppm (Spi + 4) and 0.5 ppm (Spi + enol). (Spi + 4) means spirotetramat and its 4 metabolites: BYI08330-enol, BYI08330-ketohydroxy, BYI08330-monohydroxy, and BYI08330 enol-glucoside. (Spi + enol) means the sum of spirotetramat and spirotetramat-enol, expressed as spirotetramat.
