Turkey Dried Apricots

 As reported by the Aegean Exporter’s Association, Turkish dried apricot production is expected to be 95,000 metric tons for the 2021/22 season. With a beginning stock of 5,000 MT, total supply is estimated at around 100,000 MT. In 2020/21 season (August 1, 2020-July 31, 2021), international shipments reached 87,193 MT. The new season started on August 1, 2021, and exports year to date (up to October 16) had reached 24,688 MT, the top three markets being USA, France and Germany.
