The Office National de Sécurité Sanitaire des Produits Alimentaires of Morocco notified the World Trade Organization of the draft decree relating to the quality and safety of dates and date paste marketed.The aim of the decree is to define date and date paste; to determine the marketing characteristics and the quality tolerances; to provide the labeling requirements; and to determine the storage conditions to preserve the safety and quality of the dates and date paste, among others.The deadline for comments is June 1, 2017.For further information, please contact us at inc@nutfruit.org.
