The National Agrarian Health Service of Peru (SENASA) notified the World Trade Organization of the Directorial Resolution establishing the mandatory phytosanitary requirements governing the importation into Peru of macadamia plants (Macadamia integrifolia and Macadamia integrifolia x Macadamia tetraphylla) originating in and coming from Australia.

Following the completion of the relevant pest risk analysis, the proposal of mandatory phytosanitary requirements governing the importation into Peru is being submitted for public consultation. The deadline for comments is March 15, 2020.
