The 2016 Food Facility Registration Biennial Renewal period began at 12:00 am on October 1st and will end at 11:59 pm on December 31, 2016.Under the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), facilities engaged in manufacturing, processing, packing or holding food for consumption in the United States are required to renew their FDA registrations between October 1 and December 31, 2016.In the Newsletter No. 186, INC announced that FDA amended and updated the registration regulations of food facilities.More information
