The US Food and Drug Administration has published two draft guidance documents related to the final rules on Nutrition Facts labeling and Serving Sizes to help industry comply with such rules.The drafts provide examples and answer questions related to compliance. Although the final rules were published in May 27, 2016, the compliance date is July 26, 2018. However, smaller businesses (annual food sales < $10 million) have until July 26, 2019 to comply.The draft guidance documents are open for comments. Submission should be made within 60 days of publication in the Federal Register.More information
